Heard Any Tunes Lately?

Hi everybody I'm back with music. Music is one of my favorite things right now. I love christian music!!!!

My favorite artists are Toby Mac, Matthew West, Brandon Heath, Chris Tomlin, Chris August and last but not least is Josh Wilson.

My favorite songs are "Hold On", "I Refuse", "7x70", "I Will Rise", "Get Back Up", "Hey Devil", "Starry Night", "I Will Follow", "Our God", "My Own Little World", "Made to Love", and "Give Me Your Eyes".

I like songs that have steady beats. What is your favorite song?

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

I love my daddy because he takes good care of me. He kills wasps and hornets and dirtdobbers and bees. He takes me fishing. He buys me stuff that I need and sometimes even for fun. He plays fun things with me. He comes to my ballgames and says, "go sissy!" when I get ready to bat. Thank you dad for being the number 1 daddy ever!

Night Fishing

On Thursday night we went fishing at Brother Perry and Mrs. Debbie`s house.  They made homemade ice cream and it was yummy.  I almost caught a huge fish but instead it turned my line over and broke away.  :(  It might have been an alligator.  It sure felt that way!

They had a bass light and Bubba caught a bass.  It weighed 3 pounds.  Brother Perry caught  a baby bass and a baby yellow bass.  Dad got two bites but  they both got his minnow.  Mom had a bite but it took her minnow and Mrs. Debbie got a big bite but it broke her line.  We didn`t have much luck but it was a lot of fun!  

Lake Texoma Trip

Hi everybody I'm back. While I was at Lake Texoma I met some friends and their names were Emily and Allie. We all ate lunch together, played on the slip-n-slide, and went to the lake together everyday. We had a blast!!!!! Thank you Mimi and Grandpa for letting me go with ya'll!

Watch Out Lake ... Here I Come!

Tonight after my ballgame I got to come to the lake with my Mimi & Grandpa, but it was already bedtime.  I can`t wait for tomorrow!  Last summer when I came here I met a girl named Emily. We pretended there was a storm coming and we had to get all of our horses out of the barn to a safe spot.  Emily is here again this year. I'll see her in the morning.  I wonder what fun stuff we will do???

My Best Buddy Thomas

Today I went to VBS with Thomas.  We had fun there!    We had snacks and got to go to the gym to play.   We sang songs and we learned about the Centurion who asked Jesus to heal his servant.   We also went to craft time and made a prayer journal.

I'm very glad Thomas invited me to go today.   I hope we get to see each other some more this summer.  Thomas has been my best buddy since playschool.  We were three years old.

Last Day Of School

Today was the last day of school and that rocks!  I got lots of awards and so did the other kids in my class.  3 kids in my class got perfect attendance.  I got awards for good conduct,  A honor roll, 300 point club, and top AR reader in second grade.

Game Day

Today was game day and it was fun. We played lots of games.  Someone brought dog-opoly and I brought monopoly. My favorite parts about today were playing games and watching Gnomeo and Juliet. Today was awesome!!!!

Speaking of game day, I had a softball game tonight against the Diamond Divas. That is Reese and Katie's team. Katie sure did get a good hit! Good game girls!

Welcome to My Blog

Hi!   This is my first post, and I am very excited!   2nd grade is almost over, which means it is time for summer!!!  

Let me tell you a little bit about me.   I just turned 8 years old.  I have a dog named Scout that I call the Cutest Boy Ever!  I love that boy!    I have a brother too.    I call him Bubba.   He is almost 13, which I hate because I don't want him to grow up.  We have lots of fun together!

This summer I am looking forward to having tons of fun.  I play machine pitch softball, and so far we haven't lost any games in our season.  I plan on going to the lake a lot this summer with my parents and my grandparents.  I can't wait to do a lot of swimming, riding my scooter, and just anything else that sounds like fun.  I got a new camera for my birthday, so I will be sure to show you pictures of the fun things I find to do.
