Squeaky Clean!

Last week, me and Bubba had to go to the dentist.   We go to a fun dentist!

When I saw these planets, I immediately thought of my cake balls that I made for my science project.  Does this look like a cake ball to you?!?

While we waited for our turn, me and Bubba played on one of the kid computers.  Sometimes it's hard to get a computer because all of the kids want to play on them and sometimes they take them before we get there.    This time our luck was better!    We played games like air hockey, poker, and chess.

This is me getting x-rays made.     Something happened to the camera and it wouldn't stay up by itself.   I had to hold it!

Me acting like I'm at the beach.     Hmmmm....dentist?    beach?    Those are close to the same.    Right?!?!?

While she cleaned my teeth, I watched a little TV.

When you finish getting your teeth cleaned at my dentist, you get a gold coin and you get to pick out a little toy.     There are so many things to choose from!      This time I got a little squishy ball.

One more thing - me and my dentist were wearing the very same shoes!      Too bad we didn't get a picture of that!       That's about all I can say about the dentist.     I'm glad to be all squeaky clean!

The Results Are In!!!

Well......I have good news!    No.....awesome news!!!

My class won the box top contest!   We had 1,823 box tops.    We get the bounce house for a whole afternoon, a special bracelet that is box tops, and some CANDY!!!!!  Yes don't ask me the question - we went Wild!!!  We were screaming our heads off because we had won the challenge.   :))

Box Top Fun

Our school is having a box tops contest and the winning homeroom class gets to jump in the bounce house for a whole afternoon.  The 3rd grade teachers have come up with a plan to put all of our box tops together so we can all get the bounce house for the afternoon. When I counted my box tops I had 897!!!!  We were 3 short of having 900.  I was showing everybody my boxtops and they were freaking out BIG time.   :)  When I showed Morgan she said to Boedy, "I wish we had *Roo* in our class!" and I said "I heard that, Morgan."   It was funny.

I am thankful that I have an awesome family who saves box tops for my school.    Especially Aunt Rita saves a lot!    And Betsy and Amy and Aunt Susie and Winky.      And obviously Mom and Dad too!

My school gets 10 cents for every box top someone turns in.   When we all work hard together, our school gets good money.   Even just my box tops will earn $89.70 for my school!    Whoa...that's cool!

If you don't already save your box tops for some of your friends or family, I would be happy to add them to my collection.    Well...I don't really have a collection anymore because I just turned them in.   But I am already collecting for next school year.    Whatever next year's prize will be, I always want to win it!     And speaking of prizes, I will be way disappointed if my class isn't having a bouncing blast very, very soon!

Bad Hair Day?

Tonight at AWANA it was crazy hair night and the 2 people who had the craziest hair won.  I just thought about it in the car on the way home from school and so did mom.  We rushed home to do something crazy, and when I got there Mrs. Carla opened the door and all the kids hollered, "Look at her hair!!!!!!!"     At the end of the night it was time for the crazy hair results.    7 kids from my group participated in crazy hair night.  Those kids were Sage, Kasey, Kinlee, Me, Payton, Brittany, and I can't think of the other one.      Can you guess who won?     Me and Kinlee won.   I got sour patch kids and she got sour worms.    Then the night was over.   It was fun!    GOOD NIGHT sleep tight!!!!!!!!!!

Spring Break - Comes & Goes!

On Monday of Spring Break, we took off for a little fun.  We went to Shenaniganz, which was a blast!   While we were there, we bowled....

played the arcade...

ate snacks...

played laser tag, and then played the arcade again...

We went to our favorite snack place lately.   It is called the Yogurt Story.

After snack time, we checked into a hotel for the night and went swimming.

The boys did some hard work in the fitness room.

The next day we went to the theater to see a movie.    Me and Mom went to see "The Lorax".   It was really good.   The boys went to see "John Carter", and Bubba said he loved it!

After the movies, we ate dinner at the Cotton Patch Cafe and then we went to Bubba's basketball clinic.    When he finished there, we went back to the Yogurt Story and who did we find there?     Winky and Poppy!!!   They came to join us because they're kinda hooked on this place too!

In case you don't know about Yogurt Story, it is very awesome!    It is a place that has frozen yogurt of all kinds.   You pick whatever kind of ice cream you want and then put whatever you want on top of it.   Then you put it on the scale to pay for it.    Here are examples of what you can get.

Daddy likes orange ice cream with lots of fruit on top....

I like chocolate ice cream with blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, sour patch kids, and whipped cream on top...

Bubba likes cheesecake ice cream with cheesecake bites and graham cracker crumbs on top...

Momma likes white chocolate mousse ice cream with oreo cookies and caramel on top...

That one looks JUST NASTY to me!      But these are some ideas of things you can get.  And there are LOTS more!

After our yogurt snack, we went back to the hotel to hang out again.

We stayed up late playing Phase 10.    We didn't get to finish because we were too sleepy, but Bubba was taking the lead before we quit.

Then we tucked in for the night!

The next day we went swimming one last time, and then it was time to go home.

The rest of Spring Break was fun too, even though we were at home.   My friend Beth got to come and spend the night and play for a couple of days.     We always have a blast!

On the weekend, we created a project for my school that was due on Monday.    We had to make a Solar System and we had to use something unusual to make it.    We chose to make cake balls.    We made a cake, then crumbled it up, mixed the icing up with it, and made balls out of it.    The next day we dipped our pops in melted candies after we got just the right color for each planet.   It was a lot of hard work, and it was messy, but we did it!

Well...Goodbye Spring Break!      Easter break....here we come...
