First Day of School

WILD about 3rd grade!

This year I am in 3rd grade.  My best friends are in my class.  Their names are Thomas,  Beth
and Sage.  My teacher' s name is Mrs.Venable.  My day started off awesome and finished awesome.  Here is my schedule for this year: math, reading, language arts/spelling, lunch, recess, handwriting, science/social studies, mon.- computer literacy, tues-thurs-pe, fri-music, and writing/ar.  We go to the library on Tuesday.

My teacher is very nice!  She likes the Dallas Cowboys just like me.  But she doesn't like the Texas Longhorns.  She likes the Aggies.   Boooo!!!   My favorite thing about today was seeing all of my friends again.  I missed them this summer.

Another thing I forgot!    I have a locker this year.   That is where we will keep our backpacks and lunchboxes.  We can even decorate our locker if we want to.  I think I will make a sign that says, "Bree Allie" with stars, rainbows, hearts, flowers, and peace signs all over it!  

When we came home from school today, we had the best supper ever!   Mom let us decide what we wanted to eat.   I ate CHICKEN!!!   Bubba wanted steak.  Mine was DELICIOUS!!!   For dessert I had red velvet cake and I also snuck a no-bake cookie that Winky made us for the first day of school.  

My first day of school was CrAzY awesome!!!!

An Important Decision

I believe that Jesus died on the cross so that He could come into our hearts and take away our sins.  A few weeks ago, I asked Jesus to come into my heart.  This means that when I do things that I shouldn't do, I can ask Jesus to forgive me.  I try to live like I'm supposed to, but sometimes I mess up.   Last Sunday night, I was baptized.  Being baptized is a symbol that my old body is buried and now my new body is clean.

Lake Texoma With the Whole Fam!

Sometime in July, we went to Lake Texoma.  Grandpa and Mimi took their RV back there, and my family and my aunts, uncles, and cousins all went.    It was fun!  It was also pretty, but also hot.  We went swimming in the lake.   The boys went fishing.  We played baseball with a little plastic bat and a whiffle ball.  My cousin Grace brought a little swimming pool and we played in it to stay cool sometimes.   The grownups sat their chairs around the pool and put their feet in.   Sometimes the kids did that too.   We also put a table in the middle of the pool like a doofus and played cards.   It was hilarious!

Other things we did were play the Pay Day game, play with foam all over our bodies, and ride bicycles and scooters.  As usual, Mimi cooked good food and we all ate like crazy!    It was fun!
